Meet McKenzie
Our Founder and Owner, McKenzie Register, brings a decade of experience and a passion for excellence to the creation of Gulf Coast Vacation Properties, LLC. A native of the Forgotten Coast, McKenzie has spent her entire career in the hospitality industry, and her expertise in all aspects of vacation rental property hosting and management makes her the most sought-after professional in the business here.
Coming up through the ranks at Collins Vacation Rentals and Resort Vacation Properties, McKenzie is taking her career “next level” by creating a boutique vacation rental hosting and property management company focused on both the guest and the owner experiences. In her career in the vacation rental industy, she has literally worked in every aspect of the business: check-in/check-out process, guest services and in-house needs, property maintenance, housekeeping, inspecting, owner relations, portfolio revenue management, and new property acquisitions. In her most recent role, McKenzie personally oversaw a portfolio of $30 million in annual vacation rental revenue and onboarded $50 million in new vacation property inventory in less than 2 years.
A stickler for details, McKenzie personally inspects and evaluates each home in the Gulf Coast Vacation Property portfolio to insure that it is ready to be the perfect setting for family and friends to make beach vacation memories that last a lifetime. When guest and owner needs arise, McKenzie taps into her extensive network of Forgotten Coast maintenance technicians, contractors, housekeepers, and excursion and beach gear providers to deliver a seamless, stress-free experience for both guests and property owners.
